‘Create-ability’ Sessions – 2019 Trial – Enrolment by Application.
Studio Yellow understands that people of all abilities enjoy practising Art. Our Create-ability sessions cater for individuals (over 18 years of age, with or without their carer giver), by offering a supportive environment to explore and learn about art materials and self-expression, at their own pace.
While each session will offer a theme or starting point to stimulate ideas and initiate the development of new art skills and techniques, there is a strong focus on a person-centred approach to learning.
Each class will be limited to 5 people, with up to 5 Carers (Max 10) to enable personalised support.
Create-Ability Sessions are a social and supportive way to stimulate creative growth, encourage independence, develop confidence and increase self-esteem.
While a range of art materials will be provided, participants are also encouraged to bring along their own materials and projects to work on. Natalie will be available to offer support to bring their ideas to life and to encourage and facilitate further independence when working on creative tasks at home.
