This workshop demonstrates the essential skills you need to develop your confidence in drawing.
If you struggle with proportion and showing perspective, you will learn a whole new way to approach drawing, that really works so that you will be able to make objects look solid and three-dimensional. Through demonstration and hands-on experience, you will apply some EASY techniques that will take your drawing skills to the next level. You will also be learning essential rendering techniques using a range of easily accessible/affordable drawing media to improve the way you use colour and texture as well as how to select the appropriate media and techniques to suit the subject matter.
Developing an ability to draw is also about learning how to ‘see’ so accelerate your progress, with the individual support and guidance you need to make sense of the 5 art elements (line, shape, colour, tone and texture).
